Inspections can be scheduled for any time / any day outside of walk-in office hours; please call the office in

advance to schedule a date and time. All inspections are one hour +/- of the scheduled time.

Land Use Department Office Hours: 

Tuesday / Wednesday / Friday:  9:00 – 4:00 p.m., Thursday:  4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Second and Third Saturday of the Month: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Walk in hours are the first two hours of every business day – Either the CEO or Deputy CEO will be available to address quick questions - please limit your time to less than 15 minutes. An appointment outside of walk-in hours can be scheduled if more time is necessary  

For safety reasons, Town Policy prohibits the CEO from doing inspections during inclement weather.  If Acton Elementary is closed due to weather, no inspections will be conducted.  Please make certain that the site including walkways, driveways and private roads are cleared to safely enter the site.  If an inspection cannot take place because the site is unsafe, a reinspection fee will be charged.  It is the property owner's or contractor's responsibility to call to reschedule
