The Town of Acton is soliciting bids for lawn care for the following locations:
Acton Town Hall – (35 H Road)
Acton Public Safety Building (1725 Route 109)
Mary Grant Nature Preserve (420 Sam Page Road)
Fire Three Repeater Tower (Blueberry Hill Road)
Recreation Field (2672 Route 109)
The Lincoln Schoolhouse (8 Orchard Road)
Bids submitted must be submitted, with pricing, for 3 seasons:
May – November 2026
May – November 2027
May – November 2028
Mowing must be done at each location, on an as needed basis. Raking, fertilizing and Spring/Fall cleanup must also be done at each location. Additionally, garden maintenance, weeding, and trimming at the Town Hall site must also be included.
The Bid should include both a price per mow, a monthly breakdown and a price per season quote as well as a list of three references.
All bids need to be submitted by 4pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2025, to the Town Administrator, Town of Acton, 35 H Road, Acton, Maine 04001.
***If you would like to submit an additional bid for Bush Hogging at the Transfer Station, you may include that as a separate bid. It is not required to offer bush hogging to be considered for this bid***
Envelope should be clearly marked “Lawn Bid” on the outside. The winning bidder will be subject to providing proof of liability insurance, and worker’s compensation insurance or a State exemption form, within 5 days of bid acceptance.
Bids will be opened at the Selectman’s Meeting on Wednesday, October 28, 2025 The Board has the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
